Chris Payne BSc (Hons) Ost. Med. DO PGC ACE
Chris graduated with a First Class honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine and a diploma in Osteopathy and Naturopathy in 1998 from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (now the British College of Osteopathic Medicine). He gained a distinction in his final clinical competency examination and was awarded the fourth year clinical prize.
Setting up the Rainham Osteopathic clinic in 2000, Chris continues to expand his knowledge with particular interest in the links between Dentistry, Orthodontistry and Osteopathy, Visceral Osteopathic approaches, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, treating babies post delivery, Women’s and Mens health, treating children and how emotional factors can present in musculo-skeletal pain.
Chris joined the team at the European School of Osteopathy as a clinic tutor in 2012 and has since become an examined for the Clinical Competency Assessment exams and Final Osteopathic Examination assessment. He has lectured in Russia in differential diagnosis and assists the international department in providing demonstrations of a clinical consultation with new patients. Chris is also part of the team responsible for giving feedback and examining the Personal and Professional Portfolio assessment for the fourth year students and a personal tutor. In 2018 Chris completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic and Clinical Education and is passionate about teaching and Osteopathy.
